ROXY MUSIC have concluded their UK tour culminating with the London O2 Arena show. They are now preparing for the Australian leg of the 40th Anniversary tour. Roxy Music will kick the tour off at Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River. The two sold out concerts were the fastest selling concerts in Leeuwin Estate’s history.
Roxy Music’s Hunter Valley show on Saturday 26th February has been moved from Hope Estate to Newcastle Entertainment Centre. This not to be missed concert will now be presented in the more customer friendly venue within the convenient surrounds of Newcastle.
Patrons will enjoy a comfortable and intimate concert experience within the weather friendly complex of Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Ticketholders will have their tickets automatically transferred from Hope Estate to Newcastle Entertainment Centre in a smooth and stress free transaction. Mondo Rock will no longer be performing on the Roxy Music Australian tour; the band will now be joined by special guests, Sydney band, Cameras on their upcoming Australian shows (excluding Leeuwin Estate).
Cameras formed in 2008 in Sydney and have been attracting a lot of attention through Triple J, BBC6 Music in the UK and KCRW in the US. Their first single June was a former iTunes ‘Single of the Week’. Cameras have become the darlings of Sydney’s live scene performing at last year’s Sydney Creative Festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art, recently at the Sydney 2011 Big Day Out and wrote the score to NIDA’s haunting stage production “Motel”, performing with the live cast in both Sydney and at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
