Bryan Ferry and the band were excited to be back on Hong Kong Island. Their visit was to perform at the 50th anniversary of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The hotel was celebrating five decades as the most luxurious destination in the region.
BF wore a Louis Vuitton embroidered tuxedo jacket. The people at the party watching Ferry included Boris Johnson, Dame Helen Mirren, Darcey Bussell, Frederick Forsyth and Sir David Tang.
The event was a real success, Helen Mirren was seen to be dancing wildly to the rock numbers. The crowd got a show to remember, chanting loudly for more after the encore.
